What is it? Basically, a shoehorn on a stick. It tries to solve the problem of having to bend over to put on your shoes. For 14.99, you receive two ShoeDini shoehorns.
The ShoeDini comes in two pieces in plastic packaging and is assembled by screwing the two pieces together. A small knob at the base of the grip is used to unlock the telescoping handle. The ShoeDini then expands to approximately 30".
The ShoeDini was tested on a pair of loafers, men's bowling shoes, sneakers, men's dress shoes, and two different women's heels. All the shoes were able to be put on a taken off using the ShoeDini without bending over. However, out of the six pairs of shoes, the ShoeDini was only able to pick up two - the bowling shoes and pair of women's shoes with the lower heels. The clip either would not fit over the other shoes or slipped off.
The ShoeDini also failed to meet the claim that it can be used with tied shoes. When the ShoeDini was used with a pair of shoes that was already tied, the shoes were difficult to remove and would not go back on.
The ShoeDini works in a limited way or fails to meet some claims.
