ASOTVI represents one of the best new advertising media venues for retail consumer products. This innovative Web 2.0 website specializes in objective, independent product reviews for Direct Response TV (As Seen on TV) Products. However, its audience is comprised of a broad base of online shoppers and retail consumers of all varieties, and therefore applicable to any retail advertising needs. Please note that some of our Advertising options are only applicable to As Seen on TV products, as specified below, while campaigns for other product types and services can be established throughout the site.

- Products must be submitted for review prior to campaign approval. Please request a Media Kit and Rate Card for complete details on the submission process.
- All As Seen on TV products MUST WORK AS ADVERTISED with respect to all of its major functionality claims in order to be eligible for review and any advertising opportunities with ASOTVI.

All As Seen on TV products featured on this website must work as advertised prior to approval of any paid ad campaign with ASOTVI. Products submitted for review that are found not to work as advertised may be published at ASOTVI’s sole discretion or omitted; however, if published, the vendors of such products will not be permitted to become advertising clients. Our mission is to objectively inform consumers and help support only those As Seen on TV vendors whose products do what they claim to do.
ASOTVI does provide a “Must Have” product category for those products that first and foremost were found upon initial unbiased review to work as advertised, and also, by editorial consensus, are deemed to be of unique value and utility and routine applicability to warrant special consumer attention. No As Seen on TV vendor may pay for a product to be included as a “Must Have” and such designation, if objectively merited, is not part of any advertising campaigns offered.

Unique Advertising Resources for As Seen on TV Vendors
The heart of the ASOTVI website for As Seen on TV Products is the Product Review Page. On this page, each product features two side-by-side video players. One video player offers the Vendor’s TV commercial, playing full audio and video for up to 2 minutes. Next to it is the ASOTVI produced video showing the product in action and demonstrating whether it fulfills its major product claims. Consumers want to know whether or not a product can do what it says; ASOTVI shows them.
The review page also offers a written review, summary, and optional consumer survey. The “More Details” button takes the site visitor to a URL the advertiser specifies for additional product information, and any applicable sales and fulfillment information.
Please note that ASOTVI is NOT a product reseller and all product sales and fulfillment must be performed by the vendor’s themselves or other designated third party.
The Review Page also offers additional zones for Run of the Site (ROTS) banner advertising. ROTS advertising options are also available throughout the website. See the Ad Zones above for other applicable zones.
For the As Seen on TV vendor in particular, featuring your video commercial in this venue can actually be more effective than showing it on TV. Online Browsers may voluntarily play your commercial and watch it and listen to it, or you can designate it to play automatically on its review page. These online visitors are not late night or weekend TV audiences who may be muting your commercial and taking a break from the TV. Most importantly, if your product indeed “works as advertised,” ASOTVI’s review and video will demonstrate that, helping potential customers overcome any doubts about the effectiveness and utility of the products reviewed here, and thus, potentially help you increase your product sales.
