What is it?
A neckband to cool you off.
This product consists of two parts – a comfortable neckband and an interior “cool pack” which is a set of five independent “bladders” filled with a liquid that attaches to the neckband via Velcro tabs.
The idea here is that you put the product into your freezer, refrigerator, or even in cold water to get the interior bladders good and cold. Then you wrap it around your neck, which also secures with a Velcro strap, and the cool temperature is then in direct contact with your neck.
In our evaluation we put the product into the freezer for the recommended 45 minutes, took it out, and put it on. It was observed and “felt” to be very cool and refreshing.
This product can be used not only for cooling down, or staying cool during physical exertion or excessive heat outside, but can also be used like an ice pack on your neck to relieve soreness. The vendor also recommends it for anyone suffering from hot flashes, as a means of cooling down.
Additional “cool packs” can be purchased and swapped out for longer periods of cooling. The neck bands also come in a variety of colors and styles. See the vendor’s website for more information.
We observed this product to work as advertised.
