What is it? A microfiber cleaning cloth that only uses water to clean.
The product we evaluated was the “X-Large” Classic version, which is a microfiber cloth, approximately 19.7 inches by 12.6 inches. It’s made of 50% nylon and 50% polyester. Its major claims are the ability to clean faster without the need for soaps or other cleaning chemicals, as well as removing 99% of bacteria. Per the instructions we soaked the cloth in hot water prior to its first use, wrung it out thoroughly, and gave it a try.
Our first observation was to use it on a stainless steel dishwasher (see video). The dishwasher was pretty dirty with water spots, fingerprints, and other dirt and debris. We observed the cloth cleaning it quite well, without streaking.
We observed that it did its best job on a glass patio table covered with grime from being outdoors. What was most noticeable about the product’s performance was the sheer amount of dirt and grime it cleaned away in just a few strokes. A simple rinse in a bucket of warm water and we were ready to continue. The end result was a clean glass table, with no streaks, visibly no different than when it had been previously cleaned weeks earlier with popular liquid glass cleaning products and numerous paper towels.
The claim regarding the removal of bacteria was not directly evaluated. But in terms of an efficient cleaning tool that could potentially save you money in terms of using fewer paper towels and cleaning chemicals, we found this product to work as advertised.
