 What is it? An automatic backup system for your computer’s data files.
If you’re reading this review then you have a computer. And if you have a computer, then you have files on that computer that you don’t want to lose in case your hard drive crashes, your laptop is stolen, or any other computer problem. Doing traditional backups and/or burning CDs can be a tedious chore that most people just don’t ever quite get around to doing, or even if they do, not on a consistent basis, regardless of how important they may agree doing so is.
This product is the cure. Nothing could be easier. It’s a 160 GB hard drive with a USB cable and its own automatic application. That’s it. You plug it into your computer’s USB port – and actually you can use it for multiple computers (up to 10) – and it takes care of everything automatically. It self-installs its own application and then goes to work.
The application recognizes over 350 different file types: all video types, all photo types, all music types, presentations, email, email attachments, artwork, spreadsheets, documents, tax returns, accounting documents, your favorite website list, and more. It doesn’t bother with applications on your PC; those can be reinstalled. It gets your unique data. You just sit there and watch it do its thing.
When it’s done you can use it to backup other computers, and then store the product safely until you’re ready to do your next backup. The application has file restore routines, keeps an inventory of what it backed-up, statistics – its’ really quite remarkable.
We used it to backup two computers (one laptop shown in our video, plus a desktop not shown). It did its work in about ten minutes on each one. Its first backup takes longer than subsequent ones as future backups only update files that have been changed. The entire task isn’t any more difficult than plugging it in once a week (like you should) and unplugging it when it’s done. So now you have no excuse for losing data ever again!
This product not only works as advertised, but for every computer user, it truly is a MUST HAVE!
