What is it? A massager.

Some products are a true joy to evaluate – and this was certainly one of them. This massager simply feels great. Unlike a lot of “vibration” type massagers, this one actually has a patented mechanism that “rubs” you. This is accomplished by means of three large steel balls that are held in place by a very powerful magnet. The product’s motor turns a plastic disc that hold the balls in position, allowing them to freely rotate and turn over the magnet’s surface (see video illustration). The result is not your typical blunt surface vibrating, but rather three firm spherical surfaces going round and round in a kneading fashion, and also conducting the magnetic force through to your muscles and tissues.
The product is very versatile. It can be used with or without its extension handle. The handle articulates to different positions, so you can reach anywhere on your back by yourself. The product also comes with a floor mount for the product’s head to facilitate foot massages. In addition, there are three different styles of what are called “Acu-Knobs.” These are small plastic attachments that plug into the head between the three steel balls to provide a much smaller, and focused point to apply pressure to specific locations or pressure points.
We observed the product to be well-made and sturdy. It is a corded product, and not rechargeable. The cord is nice and long, so we didn’t run into any “short tether” issues, and not relying on a battery means that it always provides a constant level of power.
Our most positive observation was that after an extended use of 15+ minutes (all over the whole back and neck), a pleasurable feeling of relaxation and reduced tension was achieved very similar to that of visiting a good professional massage therapist and paying perhaps $100 or more for a session.
This product works as advertised.
