 What is it? A gooseneck blow-dryer stand.
This product is very straightforward, consisting of a holder on the end of a gooseneck stand, which is attached to a large rubber suction cup base. The user simply attaches the suction cup to a smooth surface (preferably glass/mirror, non-textured tile, or perhaps even metal). You then strap your own blow-dryer to the holder (a blow-dryer is not included), position the dryer as needed, and then dry your hair.
The basic idea of this product is to free up both hands for styling and not have one hand burdened with holding the blow-dryer. However, we could also envision many other uses for a convenient “third hand,” such as holding a flashlight during repairs, holding an electrical meter or other measuring device while using both hands to test something, etc. The product just requires a convenient smooth surface to attach the suction cup.
We would suggest that before you attach the suction cup to a smooth surface, to first ensure the surface is clean, and for extra hold, you can rub a little dab of water around the edge of the rubber to create a very tight air lock. Nevertheless, in our evaluation, nothing more was required to secure the suction cup other than placing against the mirror and locking it down.
We observed the product to be well-made of very durable materials: metal and rubber. The gooseneck was observed to be extremely strong and tight, and yet adjusted easily to whatever angle was needed. We saw no sign whatsoever of the gooseneck changing position from the weight of the dryer during use.
We observed this product to work as advertised.
